I'm settling into my new little home, and like I've already shared with you it is a perfect little place for me right now. It was time to move forward. Yet as I settle in, there are many things I miss about living in The Famcave.
Specifically, I miss my morning view from my bed: the tree that was a hopeful metaphor for the day ahead. Bigger than the house, wide welcoming boughs spread like open arms, and especially, the heart at its center.
This view made me smile and count my gratitudes each day even before my feet hit the floor.
It is my family tree.
I think I want to have it framed.
