From a recent photo shoot came this image of my Mom that I feel bespeaks the changing generations on so many levels: physical aging, softening, maintaining. And then this crazy fast world of electronics that has Mom sitting holding this little pink gadget that I'm sure she never dreamed possible. This little gadget that links her to then from now with the push of a button. That is a photo she holds of herself in an era gone by. A photo loved by her youngest granddaughter and carried on her phone...
My Mom, who is soon to turn ninety years old. It brings me to that place of awe and wonder: where does the time go? In the blink of an eye, where does it go?
She is a beautiful elder! This picture is precious, indeed.

That is a powerful picture. And one of the best I have seen of you mother. You have a special art with the camera Marianne.

Your mother is lovely, and doesn't look close to 90. I wish her continued good health. :)
My grandma turned 90 in January, and she's going to be getting a Kindle soon, so she can read again. Large print books don't really work for her, but with electronics, she will hopefully have better luck. It's great, bringing another generation into our time, at their own speed and will.
